Indian Embassy in China hosts Mid-Autumn Festival cultural event

The Indian Embassy in China hosted a special cultural program on September 24 to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, aiming to foster cultural dialogue between India and China.

The event featured a cultural partnership session that introduced Chinese folk traditions and the significance of the festival. A key highlight was a lantern painting activity involving embassy officials, including Ambassador Vikram Doraiswami and Minister Shweta Singh, alongside the Horizon Insights Center team.

Cultural performances included a Kathak dance rendition of the famous poem ‘Prelude to Water Melody’ by Chinese poet Su Shi. The program utilized art, dance, and traditional festivities to promote themes of reunion, harmony, and shared joy between the two nations.
