Indian film “Toxic” starring Kiara Advani tackles bilingual shoot and on‑set restrictions
Actor Kiara Advani discussed the production of the upcoming Indian film Toxic, starring Yash and directed by Geetu Mohandas. She said the movie was shot simultaneously in English and Kannada, requiring her to memorize dialogues in a language that is not her mother tongue and to film each scene twice – first in English, then in Kannada. Advani also revealed that the director asked her not to greet anyone on set to stay in a particular mindset for her role.
The high‑budget project, reported to cost between ₹700‑800 crore, was originally slated for a worldwide release on 10 April 2025 but has been postponed to 4 June 2026. It marks Yash’s first release since KGF: Chapter 2 and features a cast that includes Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
