Indian firms target $66.78M investment expansion in Philippines
Indian technology and manufacturing companies are targeting approximately $66.78 million in investments in the Philippines. These projects focus on sectors including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital engineering, and electronics manufacturing.
During a high-level executive roundtable led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., officials discussed expanding the investment pipeline following commitments made during the president's August 2025 visit to India. The participating Indian firms hold a combined market capitalization of roughly $65.55 billion.
Key expansion plans include Cognizant, which is considering high-value technology services that could generate between 3,000 and 5,000 new jobs over the next three years. Additionally, HCLTech plans to maintain $10 million in investments while strengthening AI and cybersecurity training, and VVDN Technologies is finalizing plans for an electronics assembly and testing facility valued between $10 million and $50 million.
