Indian High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi holds bilateral talks in Bangladesh

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Dinesh Trivedi, held a series of meetings in Dhaka to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation. On Sunday, Trivedi met with Dr. Zahed ur Rahman, the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on Policy and Strategy, as well as Information, Broadcasting, and Cultural Affairs. The discussions focused on strengthening ties and people-to-people contact between the two democracies.

In a separate meeting on the same day, the High Commissioner met with Bangladesh's Water Resources Minister, Mohammad Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anis, and State Minister Forhad Hossain Azad. The talks emphasized the need for enhanced bilateral cooperation to meet the shared aspirations of the citizens of both nations.

Earlier in the week, Trivedi met with A.K.M. Shamsul Islam, Advisor to the Prime Minister's Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Division. That meeting centered on deepening defense cooperation and increasing contact between the armed forces of both countries.
