Indian institutions announce government job vacancies

Several Indian government and educational institutions have announced recruitment drives for various technical and administrative roles.

The BRIC-National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, is seeking a Technical Officer. The position offers a monthly pay scale ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400. Eligible candidates include those with a B.Sc. and seven years of experience, or a B.Tech, B.V.Sc., or M.Sc. with three years of experience. Applications are open from July 13, 2026, to August 14, 2026.

Additionally, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Sikkim has announced 33 vacancies for various positions, including Registrar, Assistant Librarian, Technical Assistant, Junior Engineer, and several technician and assistant roles. Recruitment is being conducted on both deputation and direct bases, with applications for these roles having a deadline of March 10, 2025.
