Indian leaders hoist national flag in Delhi for 80th Independence Day

Various Indian leaders and officials conducted flag-hoisting ceremonies in Delhi to mark India’s 80th Independence Day.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, and BJP National President Nitin Nabin held separate ceremonies at their respective residences and the BJP headquarters. These events included ceremonial welcomes and the presence of uniformed personnel.

Additionally, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta hoisted the national flag at his official residence, accompanied by a ceremonial Guard of Honour. The celebrations across the capital were marked by heightened security arrangements and widespread participation from government offices and political institutions.
