Indian Overseas Bank announces recruitment for 25 security guards

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has released a recruitment notification for 25 Security Guard positions under the Subordinate Staff Cadre. The vacancies are reserved exclusively for Ex-Servicemen and Ex-Agniveers from the Army, Navy, or Air Force, excluding disabled ex-servicemen.

Candidates must have completed 10th standard or its equivalent but must not have passed a graduation degree. Proficiency in the local language, Tamil, is required. The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 45 years, calculated as of August 1, 2026.

Online applications are open from August 25, 2026, until September 14, 2026. There is no application fee for any category. Selected candidates will be posted in Chennai, though the bank reserves the right to assign them to any location within Tamil Nadu.
