Indian Overseas Bank announces recruitment updates and training dates

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) is proceeding with its 2026 recruitment cycles for various management positions. For the Local Bank Officer (LBO) recruitment in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I cadre, which includes 250 vacancies across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, the bank has scheduled online Pre Examination Training (PET) to take place from 7 September 2026 to 12 September 2026.

Additionally, the bank is conducting recruitment for the Manager (Credit) MMGS-II position, which has 35 vacancies. While the bank has not published a specific chapter-wise professional knowledge syllabus for this role, the position requires at least two years of credit experience, with a preference for expertise in MSME, corporate advances, trade finance, and risk management.
