India recruitment: New exam dates and job notifications announced

Several recruitment processes and examination schedules have been announced in India.

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the admit cards for the Excise Constable Main Examination, which is scheduled for 20 September 2026. This recruitment covers 820 posts based on PET-2025 eligibility.

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has released the exam date and admit card details for 250 Local Bank Officer positions. The written examinations are set to take place on 24 and 29 September 2026, with vacancies distributed across states including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.

In Andhra Pradesh, the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has issued a notification for 43 Scientific Assistant vacancies within the Forensic Science Laboratory Department. The roles are divided into Physical, Chemical, and Biology/Serology disciplines.
