Indian passport and visa services resume at 16 UAE centres under Al Hind Tours
From 22 July 2026, passport, visa and document‑attestation services for Indian nationals in the United Arab Emirates have moved back to 16 Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs). Al Hind Tours & Travels LLC took over operations, ending the temporary in‑house processing that the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai had run for three weeks.
Applicants must book appointments on the official Consular Seva portal, with new slots released at 09:00 and 21:00 daily. All ICACs operate from 08:00 to 18:00, and visitors may enter up to 15 minutes before their scheduled time. Walk‑in service remains available for Tatkal passport applications, newborn registrations, Emergency Certificates and senior citizens (60 +). The 16 centres cover all Emirates, including six in Abu Dhabi, two in Dubai, two in Sharjah and six in the northern emirates. The outsourcing follows a legal dispute in which the Delhi High Court invalidated the original tender, directing a fresh bid for consular service contracts in the region.
