Indian photographer wins USD 1 million in Dubai Duty Free draw

Jijo Pulikkathodi, a 41-year-old photographer originally from Kerala and currently residing in Ajman, has won the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire Series 556 draw. The winning ticket, number 4891, was purchased online on August 22.

Pulikkathodi shared the cost of the ticket with 17 Indian friends, a group that has been participating in the promotion together for several months. The USD 1 million prize will be shared among the group. This victory marks the 283rd time an Indian national has won the million-dollar prize since the promotion began in 1999.

The draw took place at Concourse B of Dubai International Airport and was conducted by Dubai Duty Free Managing Director Ramesh Cidambi and the company’s executive team.
