In Hyderabad, actor Adivi Sesh has partnered with the Hyderabad Police to promote women's safety. Sesh emphasized that equality and safety must be integrated into everyday interactions and workplace cultures, noting that individuals in positions of influence have a responsibility to challenge improper behavior and foster environments where women feel respected and heard.
In Chennai, the Tambaram City Police held a coordination meeting with security officials from major IT companies to address employee safety. Chaired by Commissioner Prem Anand Sinha, the discussions focused on women's safety, cybercrime, digital fraud, and the security of night-shift transportation. Key measures discussed include the implementation of verified transport facilities, improved CCTV coverage, and the nomination of nodal officers within IT firms to facilitate prompt incident reporting and emergency response.
