Indian police arrest five QNet promoters in Hyderabad and Goa

The Economic Offences Wing of Hyderabad police and the Central Crime Station (CCS) arrested five individuals accused of operating the QNet multi‑level marketing scheme. The men—Mohammed Fawaz, Aswin Suresh, Vinu Johnson, Manoj Subbalakshmi and Varikottuchil Balraj—were detained on July 22‑23 while attending a marketing event in Goa and later transferred to Hyderabad.

Police say the arrests stem from a complaint by a victim who was lured via Instagram to invest ₹7.5 lakh in QNet, presented as a luxury‑goods business linked to the QI Group, and to pay a ₹30,000 booking fee for a leadership event in Goa. Authorities seized three cars and five mobile phones, and the investigation remains ongoing with additional suspects at large.
