Indian police bust sex rackets in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh
Police in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddh Nagar district raided a commercial complex spa in the Vaishali sector of Ghaziabad, rescuing 23 women and arresting five men and a staff member. Authorities began a probe into the network’s operators and how victims were recruited.
In Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur police conducted a raid on a residential house in the Panni neighbourhood of the Adhartal police station area, detaining six people – a mother, father, son and three other clients – after uncovering ongoing sexual‑exploitation activities. Both raids are part of a wider investigation into organised sex‑trade operations across the two states.
