Indian Police Seize 10 Crore MD Drugs in Rewa and Arrest Hyderabad DSP Over 300 Crore Assets

Police in Rewa district, Madhya Pradesh, seized MD narcotics valued at about 10 crore rupees during Operation Prahar 2.0 and arrested two suspects, Manda Singh (23) and Gyanbhashan Sharma (27). The haul of 3,087 grams of MD was confiscated from a motorcycle‑bound convoy after a tip‑off, and additional mobile phones were recovered. The operation was led by senior police officials including Gaurav Rajput and Hemant Singh Chauhan, and investigators are continuing to trace the drug network.

In Hyderabad, Telangana, Deputy Superintendent of Police Bheem Reddy was taken into custody by the Anti‑Corruption Bureau after raids uncovered alleged illegal wealth exceeding 300 crore rupees. Searches at 16 locations yielded two kilograms of gold, cash, foreign liquor and a secret diary listing over 15 unnamed individuals. The ACB seized cash, precious metals and property, and Reddy was placed in judicial custody for 14 days. Investigations are ongoing into the purported assets and associated network.
