Indian police seize massive firecracker stock and arrest gang members

In Varanasi, police and crime branch teams conducted a raid on a residential property in the Kunj Vihar colony of the Cantt police station area. Authorities seized approximately 30 quintals (3,000 kg) of firecrackers stored without a valid license. Rahul Gupta was arrested at the scene, and the explosives were confiscated to prevent potential danger to the residential neighborhood.

In Madhya Pradesh, Panna police arrested 10 members of the Bawariya gang following a series of thefts during a religious procession led by Bageshwar Dham head Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. The gang reportedly targeted thousands of devotees, committing over 100 chain snatches and numerous pickpocketing incidents.

Police recovered stolen goods valued at 42 lakh rupees, including gold and silver jewelry, cash, mobile phones, and three luxury cars used in the crimes. The arrested individuals hail from various parts of Rajasthan, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
