Indian police seize narcotics and illegal alcohol in multiple regional raids

In Bhilwara, Rajasthan, authorities seized 40 kg 385 g of illegal poppy husk (Doda Chura) from a Swift car. A 34-year-old suspect from Jodhpur was arrested, and the vehicle used for transport was confiscated.
In Singrauli, police raided a grocery store in Chhandana village, recovering approximately 45 liters of various alcoholic beverages and beer valued at roughly 19,961 rupees. The shop operator was arrested under the Excise Act.
In Jalandhar, Punjab, the Basti Baba Khel police arrested an individual named Tarsem Singh. During the raid, officers recovered 32 bottles of premium liquor, including Black Label and Jameson, along with 10,71,990 rupees in cash, gold jewelry, and mobile devices. The suspect reportedly has six prior criminal cases on his record.
