Indian state enterprises announce infrastructure and renewable energy developments

NBCC (India) Limited and NHPC Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the execution of NHPC’s infrastructure projects across India. Under this agreement, NBCC will provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services and manage specific infrastructure works, including design, engineering, procurement, construction, and quality control.

Separately, NLC India Limited, through its subsidiary NLC India Renewables Limited, is developing a 110 MW solar power project in Uttar Pradesh. The project is a joint venture with the National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC). A Power Purchase Agreement has been signed for NCRTC to procure the entire electricity generated by the facility for 25 years. The project is expected to be commissioned within 24 months and is projected to generate approximately 180 million units of electricity annually.
