Indian State Leaders Vijay and Reddy Push Investment with Industrial Tours and Overseas Roadshow

Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay toured key manufacturing sites in Tamil Nadu's Sriperumbudur‑Oragadam corridor on August 3, inspecting Saint‑Gobain India's World Glass Complex, the SIPCOT project office at Mambakkam, Daimler Buses India’s plant in Oragadam and Nissan’s automobile factory near Sriperumbudur. The visit aimed to review operations, infrastructure and reaffirm the state’s commitment to industrial growth.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of Telangana is scheduled to travel to the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada between August 20 and September 8 to attract foreign investment for the upcoming Bharat Future City. The two‑week tour will target high‑growth sectors such as information technology, artificial intelligence, data centres, semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, life sciences, green energy, aerospace and defence. Reddy will also promote the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2026, to be held at the Future City in December, and is considering a legislative resolution to lower the minimum age for contesting elections.
