Indian State Leaders Yogi Adityanath and Mohan Yadav Mark Start of Shravan Month with Pilgrim Arrangements

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a message greeting devotees on the first day of Shravan Maas, a month devoted to Lord Shiva. He welcomed participants of the Kanwar Yatra, wished them a safe pilgrimage and expressed hopes for peace, health and prosperity during the holy period.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also extended Shravan greetings and directed state officials to provide comprehensive facilities for Kanwar pilgrims. He highlighted arrangements at major Shiva shrines – Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar and Amarkantak – covering darshan, drinking water, parking, refreshments and other necessities. Yadav additionally advised water conservation amid monsoon concerns linked to El Niño.
