Indian Tourists Can Book Burj Khalifa Tickets with UPI Payments
Indian travelers can now purchase tickets for the At the Top observation deck at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai using the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). The service is enabled through a partnership between NPCI International Payments Limited, Neopay and Emaar Entertainment, making the landmark the first attraction in the United Arab Emirates to accept UPI for online e‑commerce transactions.
The integration allows visitors to complete bookings on the attraction’s official website before departure, eliminating the need for foreign‑exchange conversion during payment. NPCI International Managing Director Ritesh Shukla said the move meets growing demand for familiar, cross‑border digital payment solutions, while Neopay CEO Vibhor Mundhada highlighted it as a milestone for Gulf‑region e‑commerce.
