Indiana Democrat Jaime West admits to drinking before viral interview

Jaime West, a Democratic candidate for the Fayette County Council in Indiana, admitted during an interview on ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’ that she consumed three beers prior to a viral televised appearance.

West had previously gained widespread attention for a slurred interview on local outlet TV3, during which she made inflammatory remarks, including a vow to fire ‘all Republicans.’ When questioned by host Piers Morgan about whether she had been drinking during that initial forum, West initially denied it before eventually admitting, ‘Alright, three. Three beers.’

West attributed her alcohol consumption to being nervous about entering a room full of Republicans. Despite the admission, she maintained that she was ‘not that intoxicated’ and remained knowledgeable about Indiana politics. She also refused to regret her previous comments regarding Republican officials.
