Indiana Fever rout Las Vegas Aces, Caitlin Clark reaches 600 assists

The Indiana Fever defeated the defending champion Las Vegas Aces 109‑75 in Las Vegas on July 12, 2026, completing a dominant road‑trip performance. Rookie star Caitlin Clark returned from a back‑injury layoff, playing under a minutes restriction and posting 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists. In the third quarter she recorded her 600th career assist, becoming the fastest player in WNBA history to reach the mark in just 72 games.

Kelsey Mitchell led all scorers with 27 points, extending her streak of 25‑point games to six and moving into the top‑five all‑time for consecutive 25‑point outings. Sophie Cunningham contributed 20 points, hitting six three‑pointers—more than the entire Aces roster, which shot 4‑of‑17 from beyond the arc. Aliyah Boston added a double‑double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. The win gave Indiana its second straight victory over Las Vegas and solidified its position near the top of the Eastern Conference.

The game was also the WNBA’s prime‑time debut on NBC, marking the first regular‑season Sunday night broadcast on a major over‑the‑air network.
