Atlanta Dream beats Indiana Fever 108-101 in WNBA clash

The Atlanta Dream defeated the Indiana Fever 108-101 on June 18 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, improving to a 9‑4 record while the Fever fell to 9‑5. Angel Reese led the Dream with 21 points and 11 rebounds for her 10th double‑double of the season, while Jordin Canada added 18 points. Indiana’s star guard Caitlin Clark topped her team with 26 points, two rebounds, seven assists and two three‑pointers, but the Fever could not overcome the Dream’s shooting efficiency, as the opponent completed 53.6% of its attempts.

Both players attracted additional attention for their pre‑game attire. Reese arrived in an all‑black ensemble carrying her signature Reebok sneakers, whereas Clark entered in an all‑white look showcasing her first Nike signature shoe, the Caitlin 1. Their outfits went viral on social media, generating hundreds of thousands of views on X and the WNBA’s accounts.

Injury reports listed Clark as probable for the game, while the Dream were missing Aaliyah Nye (knee) and Brionna Jones (recovering from knee surgery). The win marks the Dream’s second victory over the Fever this season after an 83‑71 win in early June. The teams are set to meet again on Saturday, June 20, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
