Indiana Fever surge with Clark, Boston record‑setting performances
The Indiana Fever extended their winning run in the Commissioner’s Cup by beating the Connecticut Sun 85‑75. Caitlin Clark contributed 25 points and five assists, while Sophie Cunningham sealed the victory with three late three‑pointers.
Earlier in the week, the Fever defeated the Chicago Sky 114‑106 in overtime. Aliyah Boston posted 34 points with 12 rebounds and Caitlin Clark added 32 points and 10 assists, making the duo the first teammates in WNBA history to record 30‑point double‑doubles in the same game.
Clark’s fourth technical foul of the season has drawn attention, as eight technicals trigger an automatic one‑game suspension and escalating fines. The league’s disciplinary rules now put her halfway to that threshold.
Clark also recorded her tenth career game with five three‑pointers, moving her into second place behind Diana Taurasi for the most such performances.
The Fever’s next game against the Sun on June 13 will be broadcast on Peacock, NBC Sports, WTHR‑13 and Fever Direct.
