Indiana football prepares for Michigan matchup

Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti addressed the media ahead of the Hoosiers' upcoming game against the Michigan Wolverines. Following the team's first loss since 2024, Cignetti emphasized the need for more explosive rushing plays, noting that the offense has struggled to maintain its typical ground production in recent weeks.

Historically, Indiana has faced significant challenges at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, having not secured a victory there since 1967. The matchup also presents tactical questions regarding Michigan's quarterback usage, as the Wolverines recently transitioned from Bryce Underwood to freshman Tommy Carr, though Cignetti noted the possibility of Michigan utilizing two quarterbacks simultaneously.
