Indiana Hoosiers football starts season 2-0 with standout individual plays

The No. 4 Indiana Hoosiers football team has started the season with a 2-0 record, highlighted by standout individual performances from linebacker Rolijah Hardy and wide receiver Charlie Becker.

Hardy, a third-year linebacker and preseason Big Ten defensive player of the year candidate, recently recorded a 19-yard interception return for a touchdown against Howard. He currently ranks second on the team in tackles with 136 career stops.

Receiver Charlie Becker has emerged as a key component of the offense, leading the team in receptions (7) and receiving yards (145). Becker is currently tied for the most touchdown catches in the Football Bowl Subdivision with five. He has developed a strong connection with quarterback Josh Hoover, who completed four touchdowns on six attempts during a recent 55-0 victory.
