Indiana Hoosiers defeat Western Kentucky 38-0

The No. 4 ranked Indiana Hoosiers defeated the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers 38-0 at Memorial Stadium, extending their winning streak to 19 games and completing an undefeated non-conference slate.

Despite the shutout, the game featured a slow start, with Indiana leading only 14-0 at halftime. A momentum shift occurred late in the first half when Indiana linebacker Isaiah Jones intercepted a Brock Glenn pass and returned it to the 2-yard line, setting up a Lee Beebe Jr. touchdown. The Hoosiers' defense remained dominant throughout the second half, recording seven tackles for loss and nine quarterback hurries.

Offensively, quarterback Josh Hoover completed 18 of 27 passes for 273 yards and two touchdowns. While the final score was decisive, Hoover expressed a desire for greater accuracy following some mid-game misfires. Other key contributors included running back Turbo Richard and wide receiver Charlie Becker, who recorded a 79-yard touchdown. Indiana now prepares to begin Big Ten play against Northwestern.
