Indiana Hoosiers prepare for Howard matchup amid injury updates
The No. 6 Indiana Hoosiers are preparing to host Howard University at Memorial Stadium for their second game of the season. Following a 52-16 victory over North Texas, Indiana enters the matchup as a significant favorite, with ESPN’s FPI model giving them a 99% chance of winning.
Head coach Curt Cignetti provided injury updates during his week two press conference. Starting cornerbacks AJ Harris and Jamari Sharpe are considered day-to-day after injuries sustained in the opener. However, the team faces a more significant setback with running back Khobie Martin, who is expected to be sidelined until midseason due to an arm injury.
On the offensive line, the team has implemented positional changes, moving Joe Brunner to right guard and Adedamola Ajani to right tackle. Howard, led by head coach Ted White, enters the game with a 1-1 record.
