Indiana University athletes receive Big Ten weekly honors

Three members of the Indiana University swimming and diving program have been recognized in the Big Ten weekly awards. Miranda Grana was named the Big Ten Women's Swimmer of the Week following a performance that included four wins in individual and relay events.

Additionally, Paige Downey and Gabriel Manteufel both earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors. Downey recorded a time of 9:33.91 in the 1,000-yard freestyle, placing her second in program history, while Manteufel moved to fourth on the men's all-time list with an 8:49.53 in the same event. Manteufel also secured a victory in the 500-yard freestyle.
