Indiana University football players named to preseason award watch lists

Several Indiana University football players have received preseason award recognition for the 2026 season. Quarterback Josh Hoover was named to the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award preseason watch list, joining 30 of the nation’s top returning college quarterbacks.

Wide receiver Charlie Becker has been included on the Biletnikoff Award watch list, which recognizes the season’s outstanding FBS receiver. Additionally, edge rusher Tobi Osunsanmi was named to the Comeback Player of the Year watch list following a season-ending injury in 2025.

Three Hoosiers—Isaiah Jones, Rolijah Hardy, and Tyrique Tucker—were named to the Chuck Bednarik Award watch list for College Defensive Player of the Year. Other players receiving preseason recognition include Turbo Richard, Khobie Martin, Carter Smith, and Amare Fe.
