Indiana University football revitalizes run game in Week 2 victory

The Indiana University football team has seen a resurgence in its rushing attack under head coach Curt Cignetti. Following a difficult opening week against North Texas where the running backs averaged only 3.1 yards per carry, the team rebounded in Week 2 with a 55-0 victory over Howard.

In the win against Howard, the Hoosiers rushed for nearly 300 yards, averaging 6.4 yards per carry. The offense is now being led by a new duo consisting of transfer Turbo Richard and Lee Beebe Jr. Richard recorded 108 yards on 11 carries and three rushing touchdowns, while Beebe Jr. accumulated 112 yards, averaging seven yards per carry.
