Indianapolis Colts acquire center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger from Buffalo Bills

The Indianapolis Colts have acquired center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger from the Buffalo Bills to address depth issues on their interior offensive line. The trade, announced ahead of the NFL roster cutdown deadline, involved the Colts sending a 2027 sixth-round draft pick to Buffalo in exchange for Van Pran-Granger and a 2027 seventh-round pick.

The move follows a period of instability at the center position for Indianapolis. After longtime reserve Danny Pinter departed for the Baltimore Ravens, the Colts attempted to use veteran Dalton Tucker in the role, but inconsistent snapping led to difficulties for backup quarterbacks Anthony Richardson and Riley Leonard. The acquisition of Van Pran-Granger is intended to provide more stability for the team's offensive operations.
