Indianapolis Colts waive Mekhi Blackmon, sign Kenneth Harris

The Indianapolis Colts have made roster adjustments in their secondary, waiving cornerback Mekhi Blackmon and signing undrafted rookie Kenneth Harris. Blackmon, who was acquired from the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick, appeared in 17 games for the Colts last season, recording 64 tackles and two interceptions. However, he struggled during the preseason, leading to his release.

Following his waiver, Blackmon was claimed by the Cleveland Browns. The transaction is expected to be processed by Friday.

To fill the vacancy, the Colts signed Kenneth Harris, a 6-foot-0, 192-pound rookie out of Oklahoma State and Arkansas State. Harris previously spent the offseason with the New England Patriots and brings experience from 59 collegiate games.
