Indianapolis Indians defeat Nashville Sounds 4-3

The Indianapolis Indians defeated the Nashville Sounds 4-3 in the second game of a six-game series at First Horizon Park. Indianapolis established an early lead through back-to-back home runs in the first inning, including a blast by Nick Yorke, who later added a second solo home run in the third inning.

Nashville attempted a comeback with two runs in the fourth inning following a two-RBI single by Bo Naylor. Despite reaching base four times, Sal Frelick and the Sounds were unable to capitalize on multiple opportunities, stranding 11 runners during the game. The win for Indianapolis was secured by a 10th-inning RBI double from Joshua Palacios.

In other minor league action, the Greensboro Grasshoppers defeated the Winston-Salem Dash 10-9 in 10 innings. Edward Florentino hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game, and Jared Jones scored the winning run on an error in the tenth.
