Indianapolis jewelry heist suspects linked to Tren de Aragua

Five suspects, including three adults and two juveniles, have been arrested in connection with a $2 million jewelry heist in southeast Indianapolis. The robbery targeted King Jewelers on Emerson Avenue, where the group reportedly stole approximately $2 million in jewelry and $65,000 in cash.

During the investigation, suspects informed authorities that they are members of Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan-based criminal organization that U.S. officials have designated as a terrorist organization. Following the robbery, the group led police on a three-county chase on I-65 before abandoning their vehicle and fleeing on foot. All five individuals face preliminary armed robbery charges.
