Indianapolis Motor Speedway to host IGTC and Lamborghini Super Trofeo

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is set to host major upcoming motorsport events, including the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) 8 Hours of Indianapolis on October 10. The SRO Motorsports Group has released a provisional entry list featuring 29 cars. Notable entries include the Mercedes-AMG GT3 from Team Lone Star Racing, which features championship contenders Maro Engel and Maxime Martin, as well as several Ferrari and Porsche entries.

Additionally, the venue will host the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North American finale. The event features two 50-minute races that could determine the 2026 champions. Elias De La Torre currently leads the Pro class championship, holding a 14-point advantage over his closest rival, Will Bamber. Defending champions Wayne Taylor Racing also remain in contention for the title.
