India's top firms post mixed Q1 2026-27 earnings

The Adani Group's cement arm ACC Ltd reported strong Q1 FY2026‑27 results, with cement sales of 1 crore tonnes, trade sales climbing to 81% of total, EBITDA of ₹457 cr and PAT of ₹147 cr. The company expects further improvement from capacity expansions, cost reductions and its proposed One Cement platform.

Maruti Suzuki India set a target of 9 lakh CNG vehicle sales for the current fiscal after selling 2.2 lakh CNG units in the quarter, a 58% YoY rise. The demand surge now includes SUVs, prompting new CNG‑enabled models such as the Breeza S‑CNG.

AU Small Finance Bank’s net profit slipped 4.3% to ₹795.95 cr, while annual profit rose 37% on a 31.9% jump in net interest income to ₹2,696 cr. Provisions fell 30%, and asset‑quality ratios showed marginal change.

Dodla Dairy Ltd posted a 42% decline in Q1 net profit to ₹40.64 cr despite record revenue of ₹1,197.94 cr, citing higher milk‑purchase costs and larger inventory. EBITDA rose to ₹64.9 cr, and operating margins improved modestly. New labor‑law wages added to expense pressure.

Bank of Baroda’s consolidated net profit dropped 48% to ₹1,783 cr after a settlement of about ₹5,680 cr related to the UAE‑based NMCP group case. Net interest income rose 10% to ₹12,524 cr, loan book grew over 17%, and provisions fell sharply to ₹643 cr.
