India's AI Adoption Accelerates in Workforce and Customer Communications

A Cognizant and Pearson survey of 750 HR leaders in India found that artificial intelligence now performs about 37% of entry‑level tasks, exceeding the 33% global average. 96% of respondents expect early‑career employees to supervise AI systems within five years, and 94% anticipate new AI‑driven entry‑level roles. The study also highlighted a surge in demand for AI skills, with 91% of Indian organisations placing greater value on AI competence for non‑technical positions and 91% reporting increased employee requests for AI training.

In parallel, Bengaluru‑based MCUBE announced the rollout of an AI Voice Bot and Post‑Call Analysis solution that automates routine customer interactions and provides real‑time insights across sectors such as healthcare, finance, education and e‑commerce. MCUBE emphasizes that its technology augments human judgment rather than replacing it, aiming to free staff for higher‑value decisions while improving operational speed and efficiency.
