India's APEDA launches BIOFACH INDIA 2026 to expand organic exports

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), together with Nuernberg Messe India, organised the BIOFACH INDIA 2026 exhibition from 6–8 August 2026 at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. The three‑day event hosted more than 200 companies, with over 60 exhibitors displaying under the APEDA Pavilion.

The pavilion presented certified organic products from states such as Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Maharashtra. APEDA facilitated the participation of more than 35 international buyers from 13 key overseas markets, including Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Mongolia and Egypt, who met Indian exporters in structured buyer‑seller sessions.

Secretary Katikithala Srinivas of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region said the platform offers significant opportunities to boost India's agricultural exports, promote sustainable practices and increase value realisation across the organic value chain.
