India's banking sector launches large-scale recruitment drives

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has opened online applications for 11,403 Customer Service Associate (CSA) clerk positions across 11 public‑sector banks. Applications are accepted from 1 August to 21 August 2026 on the IBPS portal (ibps.in). Candidates must hold a graduate degree, be aged 20‑28 (with age relaxations for reserved categories), and will be selected through the Common Recruitment Process (CRP CSA‑XVI) with a preliminary exam slated for October 2026, a main exam in December 2026, and a subsequent local language proficiency test.

Bank of Baroda has issued a separate notice for 206 senior‑level and managerial vacancies in departments such as Digital Banking, Facility Management, Information Security, Security, Enterprise Data Management, and Corporate Accounts & Tax Planning. Applications are being received online from 6 August, with a final deadline of 26 August 2026. Eligible applicants must possess relevant engineering or related professional qualifications. Both recruitment drives are aimed at young professionals seeking careers in India’s banking sector.
