India's Banks Closed on July 25‑26, 2026 for Scheduled Holiday

All scheduled commercial banks across India, including public, private and foreign institutions, will observe a holiday on Saturday, July 25, 2026 – the fourth Saturday of the month – and the following Sunday, July 26, 2026, in line with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines. Physical branch counters will be shut nationwide, while digital banking channels such as UPI, mobile and internet banking, ATMs, and online fund‑transfer systems (IMPS, NEFT, and RTGS subject to normal holiday processing) will continue to operate uninterrupted. Customers who need branch‑only services, such as cash deposits above standard limits, locker access, or document verification, must plan to visit their banks after the holiday period, starting Monday, July 27, 2026.

The closure applies uniformly in Delhi and all other Indian regions, with no additional festival or public holidays scheduled for the week. Regular banking hours (10 am–4 pm) resume Monday through Friday from July 27 onward.
