India's Central Agricultural University hires three professors; Andhra Pradesh launches AGRICET 2026 entrance exam

Central Agricultural University (CAU) announced three assistant‑professor vacancies—Genetics & Plant Breeding, Animal Nutrition and Vegetable Science—open to candidates with a master's degree (55% minimum) or a Ph.D. and, where applicable, NET qualification. Applicants must be under 40 years old. The online application portal opened on 29 June 2026 and will close on 13 July 2026.

Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) released the AP AGRICET 2026 notification for admission to its B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture programme. The entrance test is scheduled for 27 August 2026, with online applications accepted from 15 July to 31 July 2026. Eligible candidates are diploma holders in Agriculture, Seed Technology or Organic Farming, aged 17‑22 (with relaxations for SC/ST/PH). Seats are allocated across government and private agricultural colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
