India's digital lender Fibe files draft prospectus for Rs 750 crore IPO
Social Worth Technologies Ltd, the parent of digital lending platform Fibe, filed a draft red‑herring prospectus (DRHP) with SEBI to launch an initial public offering. The plan includes a fresh issue of shares worth up to Rs 750 crore and an offer‑for‑sale of up to 4 million equity shares by existing shareholders. Lead managers for the issue are Kotak Mahindra Capital, Axis Capital, DAM Capital Advisors and JM Financial.
Proceeds are earmarked primarily for strengthening the capital base of Fibe’s material subsidiary ESPL, with Rs 562.6 crore allocated to that purpose and the balance for general corporate uses. The company, founded in 2015 by Akshay Mehrotra and Ashish Goyal in Pune, offers personal loans and purpose‑driven financing across consumption, education, healthcare and insurance, leveraging AI and data science throughout its operations. As of March 2026, Fibe reported assets under management of Rs 8,603 crore, operating revenue of Rs 1,585 crore and net profit of Rs 257 crore. Major shareholders include The Rise Fund (TPG) at 23.26%, Norwest Capital at 13.38%, Eight Roads Ventures at 13.02% and Piramal Finance at 7.06%.
