India's GDP growth touted by BJP spokesman RP Singh

BJP national spokesperson RP Singh said the projected 7.7% rise in India’s GDP for the 2025‑26 fiscal year demonstrates the strength of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies. He acknowledged ongoing global and domestic challenges, including an energy crisis, but argued the government is taking steps to stabilise the economy.

Singh also criticized opposition leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks, describing them as exaggerated, and said the government is focused on ensuring economic stability. He mentioned proposals to redraw Lok Sabha constituencies and increase the total number of seats to better reflect demographic changes, as well as support for women’s reservation to boost female participation in politics.
