India's GIFT Nifty Leads Strong Opening as Asian Markets Rally

Asian equity markets posted notable gains on Friday, boosting sentiment for India. South Korea's Kospi surged up to about 15% in early trading, driven by strong buying in chip makers. Japan's Nikkei 225 rose roughly 5.3%, while China's CSI 100 climbed about 1.8%. Meanwhile, the US Federal Reserve kept its benchmark interest rate unchanged in the 3.50%‑3.75% range for the fifth consecutive meeting.
