India gold and silver prices fall in late July 2026

India’s 24‑carat gold price slipped about 1 % on 29 July 2026, reaching roughly ₹1.44 lakh per 10 g, after a fall of ₹1,710 from the previous day. Silver prices stayed near ₹2.39 k per kilogram in the domestic market.

On 30 July, MCX August gold futures rose modestly, up 0.26 % to ₹1,42,150, while MCX September silver futures fell 0.59 % to ₹2,16,200. The U.S. Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged in its July meeting, and a strong U.S. dollar together with profit‑taking and heightened U.S.–Iran tensions pressured Indian bullion prices.

Global spot gold hovered around $4,080 per ounce, providing limited support to the market. Overall, the price movements reflect global currency dynamics and domestic demand trends across major Indian cities.
