India's gold rates hold steady in June 2026
Retail gold prices across India showed little movement in mid‑June 2026. In Hyderabad on 14 June, the price of 22‑carat gold was ₹1,36,650 per 10 g and 24‑carat gold ₹1,49,080 per 10 g, while silver traded at ₹2,60,000 per kilogram.
A day later, data from several major markets – Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and others – indicated that 24‑karat gold remained near ₹1.49 lakh per 10 g and 22‑karat gold around ₹1.36‑₹1.37 lakh per 10 g, with only minor regional variations. The flat trend follows a modest decline earlier in the month, but prices have now stabilised as consumers and investors monitor macro‑economic factors and currency movements.
Analysts note that the stability reflects a balance between international gold price dynamics and domestic factors such as central‑bank rates and rupee fluctuations, keeping retail demand steady but cautious.
