India's Green Stocks Surge as Sensex Gains 72 Points

India's green‑energy stocks outperformed the broader market on July 9, with INA Solar jumping almost 15% after a large order win and Borosil Renewables climbing about 10%. Foreign Institutional Investors reversed months of selling, providing a net positive inflow that could support further gains in the sector. Larger caps such as Waaree Energies remained under pressure, but analysts expect a strong Q1 showing to revive momentum.

In the same trading session, the S&P BSE Sensex opened higher, up 72 points (0.09%). Metals, power and auto stocks led the gains, while Syrma SGS Technology (+4.45%), Choice International (+2.73%) and Voltamp Transformers (+2.49%) were the top gainers on the BSE pre‑open bell.
