India's Health Minister JP Nadda meets Cockroach Janata Party delegation

Union Health Minister JP Nadda said his meeting with members of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on July 21 was "good". The two CJP representatives visited Nadda at his New Delhi residence on Monday, held a detailed oral discussion and later submitted a written memorandum outlining three main demands: the release of social activist Sonam Wangchuk, the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and compensation of ₹1 crore to families of candidates linked to the alleged NEET‑2026 paper‑leak suicides.

Nadda did not commit to any of the demands but appealed to the protesters to end their sit‑in at Jantar Mantar and restore normalcy in the high‑security area near Parliament. Despite the appeal, protesters remained at Jantar Mantar the following morning, and police and RAF forces continued to be deployed at the site.
